Lower Merion Township Police Report: DUI Arrests

Traffic violations lead to two arrests.

A Narberth woman has been charged with DUI on the evening of Jan. 10 after police stopped her for traffic violations. Theresa Milestone, 62, of Narberth was traveling on Lancaster Ave. in Ardmore when a patrolling Lower Merion Twp. police officer saw her pass through two red lights.  While conducting the stop police detected the odor of alcohol on Milestone’s person.  Milestone undertook a field sobriety test and did not pass.  She was placed under arrest for DUI.  Her BAC was later measured at .08 percent Blood Alcohol Content and she was charged with DUI.

Lower Merion Twp. police have charged a Media woman with DUI after she was stopped in the vicinity of Montgomery Avenue and Merion Road in Merion on Jan. 10. Arrested was Christine Bodden, 48, of the 100 block of W. Baltimore Pike in Media.

At approximately 10:45 p.m. police observed Bodden driving erratically and conducted a stop on her vehicle.  Police said that Bodden drove up onto the curb as they pulled her over, and that she smelled of alcohol. After failing a field sobriety test Bodden was arrested for DUI. Her BAC was later measured at .242 percent Blood Alcohol Content and she was charged with DUI.
