Man Charged with 3 Lower Merion Burglaries

Jorge Cruz is charged with three Lower Merion Township burglaries, one Radnor Township burglary and related charges, according to police and court documents.

Jorge Cruz, 46, of N. Randolph Street in Philadelphia, has been arrested on multiple burglary charges, Lower Merion police announced Wednesday.

Philadelphia Police arrested Cruz in connection to a burglary and recovered "numerous items of jewelry which also linked Cruz to burglaries in Lower Merion Township," Lower Merion police said.

Cruz is charged with four counts of burglary, a first-degree felony, along with four counts each of criminal tresspassing, theft by unlawful taking, and receiving stolen property, all third-degree felonies, according to court documents.

Cruz is charged with three Lower Merion burglaries and another that occurred in Radnor Township, according to Lower Merion police.

The exact dates and locations of the burglaries were not yet made available.

Cruz was arraigned in Lower Merion Township and his bail is set at $250,000, according to court documents. His preliminary hearing is set for April 25.
