Man Robbed at Gunpoint in Narberth; Suspects Arrested

The victim was walking Monday night on the 500 block of Essex Avenue.

A Narberth pedestrian was robbed Monday night with a gun to his head, by two men who police believe were then arrested Tuesday night in Delaware County, borough Sgt. Robert Yantorno told Patch Wednesday morning.

A man was walking home about 10 p.m. Monday on the 500 block of North Essex Avenue when two men got out of a car nearby, Yantorno said. The car drove away, and the men approached the pedestrian, with one of them pointing a silver automatic gun to the back of his head.

The two forced the man to his knees, then flat on the ground, as they relieved him of his backpack and personal items in his pockets, Yantorno said. The car picked the men up again and drove away.
