Woman Attacks Ex-Husband's Girlfriend at Gas Station, Police Say

The boyfriend broke up the fight, according to the Lower Merion police report.

A 41-year-old Bala Cynwyd woman was cited for disorderly conduct after attacking her ex-husband's girlfriend at the Belmont Avenue Sunoco last week, Lower Merion police said at a Monday briefing.

The victim told police that she had been sitting in her parked car while visiting her boyfriend at the gas station, at which point her boyfriend’s ex-wife pulled into the lot.  The 41-year-old woman exchanged words with the victim, the report states, and the victim refused to get out of her car—at which point the other woman punched her in the side of the face through the open car window, police said.

The victim told police that the woman then dragged her out of the car, beating her while she was on the ground, according to the report.
