Penn Valley Police Calls: Car Crashes and Fire, Bad Checks

46 neighborhood incidents were recorded in the week ending Jan. 6.

Lower Merion police responded to 46 incidents in the Penn Valley neighborhood in the week ending Sunday, Jan. 6, according to LMPD statistics.

A list of those incidents is attached to this article, sorted by type. Incident descriptions do not necessarily indicate arrests or convictions.

  • 1 case of criminal mischief to automobiles, early Tuesday, Jan. 1 on the 500 block of Fairview Road
  • 1 vehicle fire, the evening of Friday, Jan. 4, at Marywatersford Road and Conshohocken State Road
  • 1 accidental fire alarm
  • 2 case of bad checks being passed
  • 1 car crash with injuries, the afternoon of Friday, Jan. 4, on the 1100 block of Hagys Ford Road
  • 1 car crash with property damage, the afternoon of Saturday, Jan. 5, at Marywatersford Road and Flat Rock Road
  • 1 theft, Jan. 4 from the 1600 block of Oakwood Drive
