Police Activity: 11 Burglaries and Thefts

Lower Merion police responded to 203 calls last week throughout Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills and Penn Valley, down from , department records show.

In the past week, the police calls (which do not necessarily indicate arrests were made or charges filed) include:

• 3 burglaries
• 1 DUI, April 2 at River Road and Mill Creek Road in Penn Valley
• 2 fires, one April 6 on the 500 block of Ott Road and one April 8 on the first block of Belmont Avenue, both in Bala Cynwyd
• 1 car accident with injuries
• 11 car accidents with property damage
• 2 citations for public drunkenness
• 8 thefts, including three retail thefts
