Police: Bala Cynwyd Jewelry Thieves May Have Robbed Radnor Jeweler
Lower Merion police say there are similarities between a recent jewelry theft in Radnor and last month's Govberg Jewelers theft in Bala Cynwyd.
Lower Merion police have stated that there are striking similarities between last month's in Bala Cynwyd and a , according to CBS Philly.
In the Govberg Jewelers theft, a man was buzzed into the store, then several other men rushed in after him, smashed the jewelry cases with hammers, and made off with jewelry and watches. In Feb. 22's theft in Radnor, the thieves employed a similar strategy. (You can watch surveillance footage of Radnor's Bernie Robbins Fine Jewelry Store theft in the video attached to this article.)
Lower Merion Detective Sergeant John Stillwagon said the department is working on several leads and looking at similar crimes elsewhere, including one in Delaware, CBS Philly reports.
