Police Blotter: $5,000 in Jewelry Stolen from Bala Cynwyd Residence

About $5,000 in jewelry was stolen from a home on the unit block of N. Highland Avenue in Bala Cynwyd between 1:30 p.m. Feb. 17 and 10:50 p.m. Feb. 18, according to the Lower Merion Police Department.

A houseguest and a relative arrived at the home to find it had been ransacked, and a rear door had been forced open, police said.

No one was seen or heard in the neighborhood, police added.
