Police Blotter: Bala Cynwyd Man Charged in Wynnewood Burglary

On Monday afternoon, reported to news media the following incidents from the past week:

Burglary: Peter Masciangelo, 35, of the 100 block of Bryn Mawr Avenue in Bala Cynwyd was arrested Wednesday near the 300 block of Mallwyd Road in Wynnewood and charged in the burglary of a home there. Officers responding to a call about a suspicious person found Masciangelo with jewelry concealed on him, police said.

Retail theft: Celine Buckley, 39, of the 300 block of West Johnston Street in Philadelphia was charged Wednesday with retail theft from . Police said Buckley tried to leave the store about 6:20 p.m. with a backpack full of $446 in clothing but was stopped by security staff.

Retail theft: Angela Rosado, 22, of the 100 block of West Carpenter Lane in Philadelphia was charged Friday with retail theft from Lord & Taylor. Police said she was stopped by security as she tried to leave the store with $550 worth of children's clothing in a plastic bag.
