Police Blotter: Windshield Surgeon Steals BMW's Registration Stickers

On Monday afternoon, Lower Merion Township police reported to news media the following crimes and incidents from the Narberth-Bala Cynwyd Patch area in the past week:

  • Burglary: Three juveniles are suspected of trying to steal a dirt bike from a garage on the 100 block of Leedom Avenue in Bala Cynwyd about 11 a.m. March 7, after entering the house through an open window, police said. One juvenile was arrested and two fled.
  • Theft: Someone with a glass-cutting tool removed part of a customer's windshield at overnight March 7-March 8. The glass was cut around where the inspection stickers were, police said.
  • Theft: About $250 worth of copper was stolen from a home under construction on the 100 block of Cynwyd Road, overnight March 7-March 8, police said.
