Lower Merion police have released surveillance camera footage from a recent burglary at a , in which the burglar used power tools to cut through a wall before attempting to crack a safe.
The happened between 3 a.m. and 4:15 a.m. Tuesday, July 31 at the convenience store at Conshohocken State Road and Rock Hill Road.
The burglar cut through the cinderblock exterior wall into a rear storage room, then began drilling holes in a safe. He left soon after the store manager encountered him and called police, apparently not having stolen anything.
Police judged by surveillance footage (pictures of which are attached to this article) that the burglar is a Hispanic or light-skinned black man in his 20s. He wore a gray and white striped hoodie, gray pants and tan work boots.
