Westbound Accident Closes Gladwyne Exit on I-76/Schuylkill Expressway
The accident in Lower Merion Township at Exit 337 (Gladwyne) has closed the ramp and caused traffic delays.
An accident around 4:13 p.m. on the westbound lanes of I-76/Schuylkill Expressway has closed the West Exist 337 (Gladwyne) ramp, according to PennDOT’s traffic map.
According to NBCPhiladelphia.com, the accident was caused when a tree fell onto a SUV traveling on Hollow Road near the highway. The television station reports that two juveniles were injured. Lower Merion Police could not immediately confirm the incident to Patch.
The map also shows slow-moving traffic approaching the accident.
