Downed Tree, Power Line Cleaned Up on Haverford Avenue

The incident happened across the street from Narberth's government building.

A tree fell at Haverford and Conway avenues in Narberth about 9 a.m., the Main Line Times reported, taking down a power line and forcing mid-morning road closures.

By 11 a.m., the tree was in pieces on the side of the road, a PECO worker was attending to the lines and through traffic had resumed.

In an unrelated PECO maintenance matter, Narberth Avenue remained closed between Windsor and Haverford avenues.
