- PennDOT highway sweeping will mean intermittent closures of the right shoulders in both directions of the Schuylkill Expressway, between the Conshohocken and City Avenue interchanges, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday this week.
- Monday at 6:30 p.m., Lower Merion's Planning Commission will tackle a few agenda items relevant to other parts of the township before engaging in a discussion about the proposed 580-apartment development at the river end of Righters Ferry Road. The proposal is contingent on a legal settlement that is pending Board of Commissioners approval, something that was . The commission also will hear an update on the City Avenue rezoning ordinance the commissioners passed in December, though not without anticipating amendments.
- Also Monday, at 8 p.m., the will meet, still short-handed at six members after Surge Ghosh's resignation Jan. 2.
- Tuesday evening will feature - showdowns in boys' and girls' varsity basketball. The girls tip off at 6 p.m., the boys at 7:30 p.m., both at Lower Merion High School's gym.
- Lower Merion schools are being dismissed early Friday afternoon, and members of the community are invited to LMHS for service projects in honor of Martin Luther King Jr.
