Narberth Police Department is Hiring

Applications must be filed by April 26.

Narberth Borough is looking for police officer candidates, according to an email from borough officials.

Applications, which can be obtained at the Narberth Borough Office, must be filed at the municipal building by 2 p.m. on April 26, along with a $55 non-refundable application fee.

A written exam will be held at 9:30 a.m. on May 4 at the municipal building.

The listed requirements are:

  • 21 years of age or older
  • Establish permanent residence within a fifteen (15) mile radius of the Narberth  Borough  Municipal  Building within one (1) year following permanent appointment
  • High School Graduate or equivalent
  • PA. Municipal Police Officer Training Program Graduate (Act 120 Certification)
  • Valid Pennsylvania drivers license
  • Good moral character
  • Physically and mentally fit to perform the duties of a police officer
