No Historic Preservation Awards in Lower Merion This Year

The awards will be deferred to 2014.

Lower Merion's Historical Architectural Review Board (HARB) and the Historical Commission received an insufficient number of potential applicants to conduct an historic preservation awards program in 2013, according to the township.

Last year's award winners included: The Haverford School, 107 Ardmore Avenue, 254 Righters Mill Road, Lower Merion Conservancy and Merion Friends Meetinghouse.

Projects that have been completed within the last three calendar years will be eligible for consideration in next year’s award program.

The Historic Preservation Awards have been presented in Lower Merion since 1994, according to Main Line Media News. There were no awards in 2011.
