Normal Collection of Trash and Recycling for Veterans Day
The holiday falls on Sunday but will be observed Monday.
Refuse and recycling will be collected in Lower Merion and Narberth on Monday and throughout next week according to the regular schedule, not the adjusted schedule for holidays, the township and borough have announced.
Veterans Day falls every year on Nov. 11, but when it is a Sunday as it is this year, the holiday is observed on Monday.
In Narberth, mixed paper, newspaper and corrugated cardboard will be collected Monday. On Tuesday, yellow recycling containers and paper bags of leaves will be picked up. Trash is being collected Friday.
