Portion of Old Lancaster Road Closing Wednesday
Sinkhole-repair crews will work on the Bala Cynwyd block adjoining City Avenue.
Lower Merion Township sinkhole-repair crews are keeping a block of Old Lancaster Road in Bala Cynwyd closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesday, according to a township government email bulletin.
Only emergency vehicles and SEPTA buses will be able to pass on Old Lancaster between City Avenue and Stoneway Lane. Other vehicles will be detoured. The southbound right lane of City Avenue at Old Lancaster will be closed, too.
Motorists with questions about the detours or the road work can call John Ventre, the township's highway supervisor, at 610-667-1590, extension 230.
