Wynnewood Road Intersection Discussion on Narberth Council's Wednesday Agenda

The meeting begins at 8 p.m. at 100 Conway Ave.

Narberth Borough Council meets at 8 p.m. Wednesday night for a caucus meeting, and one of the topics of conversation, per the agenda posted online, will be the intersection of East Wynnewood Road and North Wynnewood Avenue.

A car hit a pedestrian at that intersection in December, and at the Lower Merion Board of Commissioners' most recent meeting, several officials voiced support for a traffic light there, or at least a study thereof.

Narberth's council agenda indicates Pennoni Associates will conduct a traffic study at the intersection.

Narberth attorney and Merion Station resident Pam Loughman has obtained hundreds of supporters for an online petition to install a traffic light.

Also on Wednesday night's agenda are updates on the timelines for replacing the Narberth Avenue bridge and demolishing the Rockland Avenue bridge.
