How Did Your Lower Merion School Perform at PSSA Testing?

Patch has the results, by grade and by school, compared to state averages.

Lower Merion School District schools attended by Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills and Penn Valley children performed well above state averages at this year's Pennsylvania System of School Assessment tests, the state's Department of Education reported recently.

Every tested grade level at every district school, in fact, produced a significantly higher percentage of "advanced" students compared with the state average, according to the statistics.

Perhaps no group did better than 's fourth graders, 95 percent of whom turned in "advanced" math test scores and 74 percent of whom performed likewise in reading. The corresponding state averages were 54 percent and 35 percent.
