From the Editor: Who's Running the Philadelphia Marathon With Me?

The race starts at 7 a.m. Sunday.

The annual Philadelphia Marathon starts at 7 a.m. Sunday, and for the first time in five years I'll be running 26 miles, 385 yards.

My (only) other marathon was in Louisville, a week before the 2006 Kentucky Derby.

Who from Narberth, Bala Cynwyd, Belmont Hills or Penn Valley will be out there this Sunday, too, either for the full marathon or the half-marathon?

And not to be creepy, but ... what are you wearing? Long sleeves or short? (The NWS forecast Saturday afternoon for the Philadelphia Museum of Art's ZIP code calls for an overnight low of 47 and a high of 65 on a partly sunny Sunday.)

Also for your reference: here's a map of the course, a list of what streets are closing and when, and the roster of restaurants doing Saturday night pasta dinner promotions in the city for runners to load up with carbohydrates before the race. (Homemade lasagna for me.)

Again, if you or someone you know is running the race, please drop me a line in the comments. Thanks.
