Lost the Broad Street Run Lottery? Other Races Await

The immensely and increasingly popular Broad Street Run concluded its registration lottery Tuesday, estimating it has 40,000 entrants lined up to run 10 miles from north Philadelphia to south Philadelphia on Sunday, May 5.

For those who weren't lucky enough to get a spot, here are some other race options for that weekend.

21st Annual University City 5K Run

• WHERE: Drexel University, 33rd and Market streets, Philadelphia
• WHEN: 9:30 a.m. Saturday, May 4
• COST: $20

Cinco de Mayo 5Kish

• WHERE: Between a bunch of bars in Allentown, PA
• WHEN: Noon Saturday, May 4
• COST: $20

Richard's River Run 5K

• WHERE: Cooper River Park, Pennsauken, NJ
• WHEN: 9 a.m. Sunday, May 5
• COST: $27.50

DUI Victims Memorial 10K

• WHERE: Harrisburg, PA
• WHEN: 9 a.m. Saturday, May 4
• COST: $20

River Towns Marathon & Half Marathon

• WHERE: Danville, PA
• WHEN: Saturday, May 4; marathon 7 a.m., half-marathon 9 a.m.
• COST: $65 for marathon ($75 on race day), $45 for half-marathon ($55 on race day)

Pittsburgh Marathon

• WHERE: Pittsburgh, PA

• COST: Varies; $120 for full marathon, $110 for half-marathon
