New Jersey will take center stage on Feb. 2 when Wilson, a second-year pro, will try to out-duel the veteran Manning, who is gunning for his second Vince Lombardi Trophy.

For comparison, Manning’s lowest passing yardage total on a season was 3,739 in his 1998 rookie season. Wilson didn’t throw for as many yards as Manning’s worst season in either of his two years as the Seahawks’ signal caller. And Wilson was only 9 years old when Manning started his first game in the NFL.

Manning may have the experience, and set NFL records for total passing yards (5,477) and passing touchdowns (55) in a season, but the Seahawks defense let up only 273.6 yards per game this year. The next best team let up more than 300 yards per game.
