Best Father & Child Picture Will Win Prizes

Upload a picture of a dad and child and win a Patch prize pack in our Picture of the Week contest.

Father’s Day is only a matter of days away and we want to see local dads and their kids.

Father and son, father and daughter, father and multiple children: we want to see them all. We’d love to see multiple generations.

Let us know in the caption what town you’re from and who everyone is.

This is the first of Patch’s summer Picture of the Week series, where we’ll be asking you for your best pictures on a certain topic each week. We’re looking forward to seeing what pictures you have to share and even adding a little incentive. The winning submission will get a Patch prize pack, which includes a very soft Patch Tshirt, a baseball cap and maybe some other Patch stuff, but more importantly, you’ll get bragging rights.

We’ll be taking photo submissions each week from 4 a.m. Monday through noon Friday. Voting will begin at 4 a.m. Saturday and end at 9 a.m. Monday, so make sure to check back over the weekend to vote for your favorite picture.

Hi - how did I delete a photo that accidentally uploaded and needs to be removed (due to poor photo quality)? THANKS!

Hi Jeanne, No problem! If you can let me know the photo (either by URL or number in the top right corner) I, or any local editor, can do that for you and then you can immediately resubmit. Thanks!

Hi Jeanne, Found it! I removed and we eagerly await a clearer version. I have to say these photos are all just incredible.

Hi Katie- I couldn't figure out how to post a caption on my pic. It's my husband, Matt Bowen and our daughter, Josie Bowen. Thanks!

Hi Melanie, Thanks for letting us know and sorry for that glitch. I've added that caption to your photo. Beautiful family!
