The current parsonage is a beautiful mansion that (needs a lot of work but) should be saved. ThereRead More aren't too many houses left like this in Narberth, where once there were a lot more.

Does any one have any more news on this property? I live across the street and am very curious asRead More to what the new buyer is going to do with the property. Another article said that they plan on turning the church into 11 condos. Does that mean they will knock down the church, or will they simply convert the same building into 11 different condos? Thanks!

Mr. Peskin and others, Many years ago my father spotted a car repeatedly going around the block ofRead More our home in Rosemont. They were "casing" a neighbors house and my father ended up stopping a burglary in progress. That was the 1960's. As far as people making it easier by leaving their doors unlocked, that's all it does. Makes it easier. I want all of you to know that if criminal types want access to your house they will get it. I have lost count of young adults, I've discussed this with, under the age of 35 who KNOW how to make keys to locks in your doorknobs. Someone very close to me has been stalked and robbed repeadedly, and changed their locks multiple times, and these psychopaths each time gotten new keys to new locks. Yes, an alarm system would be the next thing, but these sick people are so determined, they would just trip it so the police must begin charging each time. I no longer live in Lower Merion, but it's a sick world out there....:o/

The use of technology would help our local community watch groups, ESP at night. Even Philly managedRead More to get neighbors and business involved via the use of existing cameras and all. People assume LM is on this same page. maybe so, maybe not. They do the best they can every day. My three decades in LM, the crimes seem to be the same, much more scary lately however in these times.
