The library moved to a larger site in the 1970s, and since then the building has been a senior-citizen community center. The Woman's Club headquarters are next door, and across the street is the United Methodist Church of Bala Cynwyd.

Today, this charitable organization serves the needs of both the young and old of the greater Philadelphia area. Golden Slipper members founded and volunteer in a children's camp, a senior citizen center and a college scholarship fund. This organization now boasts 1,000 members -- both men and women from local communities. The organization's mission statement is as follows: "Our object and purpose shall be to engage in charitable activities and to promote a spirit of fraternalism and good fellowship among our members."
