Lord & Taylor's New Neighbor(s) Due to Arrive in Spring
A Corner Bakery and other retail businesses are in the works in Bala Cynwyd, according to Federal Realty.
Tenants of 10,000 square feet of new retail space next to Lord & Taylor and Chili's at City and Belmont avenues are expected to open in the second quarter of 2012, a representative of property owner Federal Realty told Patch Tuesday. Corner Bakery has already leased 4,000 square feet of the space, Federal Realty marketing director Andrea Simpson said. There is a Corner Bakery in Suburban Square in Ardmore. As for the rest of the building, "we are in conversations with a few potential retailers but are not at a point where we can announce anything officially," Simpson said via email. "The uses for the new construction will be of a similar nature as to what exists at the (Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center) currently."
