The business now has a Bala Cynwyd location and a Center City location.
The Center City Philadelphia restaurant Honeygrow opened a Bala Cynwyd location on Thursday, serving what a manager called "healthy fast food" and filling the last hole in the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center's City Avenue-side expansion. The local-ingredient-focused spot and a new AT&T store will be the Corner Bakery's neighbors.
All four business spaces in the retail addition to the Bala Cynwyd Shopping Center are now reserved, leasing agent Federal Realty has announced. Next to the Corner Bakery that opened in early June will be a new AT&T store, and on the other side of AT&T will be a Honeygrow restaurant. Both are slated to open in the fall. The standalone pad site across the parking lot is set to become a Bryn Mawr Trust bank branch, also to open in the fall, as Patch previously reported. The existing AT&T store in the shopping center will close once the new one opens, according to Federal Realty. The first Honeygrow restaurant (named as an expression of "honest eating and growing local") opened in early June near Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia.
