1. Lower Merion School District's Board of School Directors will meet after a Communications Committee meeting on Monday, April 22.  1. Tax Day: If you still haven't filed your taxes, Monday is the deadline. 2. Lower Merion School District's Board of Directors will meet at 8 p.m. Monday in the Lower Merion High School auditorium. The meeting location change is to accomodate a larger audience, as the board will recognize the boys' basketball team for their state title. 1. This week, temperatures are expected to average in the upper 40s the beginning of the week, and mid-50s toward the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service. 2. Still haven't done your taxes? Adults 55 and over can get free tax help at New Horizons Senior Center on the mornings of Monday, April 1 and Monday, April 8. 1. Happy spring: it looks like we may be rounding out the first week of spring with some decidedly wintry weather. A Winter Weather advisory has been issued through 6 p.m. Monday, according to the National Weather Service. Snow accumulations of 2 to 4 inches are expected. 2. Lower Merion School District students are on spring break this week. All schools are closed this week and will reopen Monday, April 1. The property's tentative sketch plan will also go before the Building and Planning Committee on Wednesday night for approval. 2. A waiver of the land development plan to construct four temporary modular classrooms at Welsh Valley Middle School goes before Lower Merion's Planning Commission on Monday night. 1. Five-time Olympic medalist in speed skating Chad Hedrick will be at Liberty Mutual's Bala Cynwyd branch (15 Kings Grant Drive, Bala Cynwyd) from 9:30 a.m. to noon on Monday. Hedrick is in town promoting the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. 2.
