He has worked in print and online journalism since 1999. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 2002 as managing editor of The Diamondback, the daily student newspaper, then went on to write and edit for six newspapers in four states before joining Patch in 2010. He grew up in Uwchlan Township, Chester County; he and his wife live in Philadelphia.
