Drunken Driver Crashes in Bala Cynwyd, Police Say

No one was injured in the two-car crash Tuesday.

A Bala Cynwyd man has been charged with driving under the influence after his car crashed into another Tuesday afternoon near the Cynwyd train station, according to Lower Merion police.

Eric Rubin, 43, was negotiating the curve on Conshohocken State Road about 2:55 p.m. Tuesday when his car struck another eastbound vehicle at Colwyn Lane, police said. No one in either vehicle was injured.

A test of Rubin's blood-alcohol content registered 0.19, more than twice the legal limit for a driver, police said.
