Bala Cynwyd Patch Blogger Published in New York Times

Lower Merion library employee Roz Warren is a creative writer in her spare time.

The New York Times' online section 'Booming' (which focuses on baby-boomer issues) on Thursday published the humor essay "I'm Not Getting Any Better" by Narberth-Bala Cynwyd Patch blogger .

In the piece, Warren makes peace with all the things she'll never do. For example:

I will do nothing to strengthen my core. I’m not even going to learn where my core is. I’m a swimmer. And I walk the Yorkiepoo every day. That will have to do.

Warren said the editor of 'Booming' recruited her after finding her essay  on her personal website.

"I totally lucked out," said the Lower Merion Library System worker and Bala Cynwyd resident.
