Temple Student Wins $1 Million from Bala Cynwyd Acme

Joseph Facciolo will be presented his check Wednesday at the store, the grocery chain announced.

A Temple University student has won $1 million in the Acme grocery chain's "game-piece" collection, and he will receive his grand prize Wednesday at the  where he picked up the lucky ticket, an Acme spokesman announced Tuesday.

Shoppers have been collecting "Sizzlin' Summer Giveaway Collect and Win" novelty game board pieces since May 18, spokesman Steve Sylven said.

Temple student Joseph Facciolo collected the only grand prize piece printed—a one in 48 million shot, Sylven said.

Facciolo is scheduled to receive his prize at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Bala Cynwyd Acme.
