The scene was on the westbound side of the highway around the Gladwyne exit. Several ambulances, fire trucks and police cars were at the scene, as was a SEPTA bus and other vehicles.

One lane of westbound traffic was squeezing past about 10 a.m., while an eastbound gaper delay had traffic crawling about 10 mph.

The number and extent of the injuries was not immediately known. Check back with Patch throughout the morning and afternoon for more information as it becomes available.

SEPTA bus routes 124 and 125 switched to local routing to avoid the accident.
