On Monday, Watch for Lane Closures at Rock Hill Road

The high temperature should be in the mid-70s.

Road crews are starting weeklong construction on Rock Hill Road Monday morning, according to PennDOT. There will be lane restrictions at both ends of the road—at Conshohocken State Road and at Belmont Avenue—from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day this week.

The Lower Merion School District Board of Directors meets at 8 tonight, and Narberth borough is holding a highway committee meeting at 7:30 p.m., with a property committee meeting following at 8 p.m.

Lower Merion High School's baseball and boys' lacrosse games are playing at home today, as is its boys' tennis team, which hosts Harriton High School's squad.

  • Today's high should be in the mid-70s, according to the National Weather Service forecast. There's a slight chance of thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening, and the nighttime low should be in the low 60s.

  • A judge on Thursday  of Arie Oren, the Penn Valley man accused of indecent contact at his Conshohocken weight-loss clinic.
  • Narberth police arrested three men in connection with an attempted  last Thursday evening, one of whom, Harleysville resident Ryu Paul Snyder, was stabbed in the attempt and is now in a coma, police say.

The roads

  • PennDOT is sweeping the eastbound Schuylkill Expressway between Conshohocken and City Avenue from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. every day this week.
