  • Rain is in the National Weather Service forecast through mid-afternoon, including possible thunderstorms. Temperatures should reach the upper 50s, but there is an 80 percent chance of precipitation. The overnight low should stay in the low 40s.

  • Lower Merion police are searching for the man who tried to rob the Bala Cynwyd 7-Eleven at gunpoint Saturday morning. He is described as a black man between ages 40 and 50, weighing 180 to 200 pounds and standing between 5 feet 7 inches and 6 feet tall. He wore a gray hooded sweatshirt, dark knit cap, navy blue work jacket and dark pants.

  • PECO reported between five and 50 power outages overnight in Montgomery County.
