Bala Cynwyd Police Blotter: Watches, Handbag Stolen From Lord & Taylor

A man stole more than $1,500 in Michael Kors merchandise Wednesday from in Bala Cynwyd, township police reported Monday in a weekly briefing.

About 11:30 a.m. that day, police said, a man went to the store's watch department, took several $250 watches out of their boxes and used a tool to remove the security sensors. He left the store with five watches and a $330 handbag and drove away in a Nissan Altima, police said.

The man was described as black, 6 feet 3 inches, 190 pounds, wearing black shorts and a black T-shirt.
