U.S. Killed Bin Laden in Firefight, Incurring No U.S. Casualties, Obama Says

President Barack Obama said Sunday night that Osama bin Laden, the leader of the al-Qaeda terrorist organization that carried out the 9/11 terrorist attacks, has been killed in a mansion outside Pakistan's capital of Islamabad.
This news comes nearly a decade after the United States military began pursuing bin Laden in Afghanistan.
